The Golden Visa of Spain
The Spanish Golden Visa can be obtained through various types of investments in the country, including investment in real estate.
To qualify for this visa, applicants must meet specific requirements, notably a minimum investment of 500,000 euros. Upon meeting this condition, individuals can apply for a residency visa based on property acquisition in Spain.
The visa grants an initial two-year stay, which is renewable as long as the property is retained. Furthermore, there are no residency requirements; applicants only need to be in Spain for the application and renewal process. This program was introduced in 2013 to stimulate the Spanish economy by recognizing individuals who contribute through significant investments.
At present, we are assisting a client in visiting properties and meeting with lawyers to complete the required procedures. However, it is important to note that the process is complex, and consulting with experts in visa-related matters is highly recommended.
